Jia Cheng is a PhD student in Computer Science, focusing on multi-UAV cooperative localisation, navigation, and multi-target tracking. He received the B.E. degree in Electronic Information Engineering from Yangzhou University, Yangzhou, China, in 2021, and the M.E. degree in Information and Communication Engineering from Xidian University, Xi’an, China, in 2024. His undergraduate research focused on short-range wireless communication and his master’s work investigated multi-UAV localization, which led to several research outcomes in this field. Since 2024, he has been pursuing the Ph.D. degree at Durham University, Durham, UK, as a doctoral researcher at the Adaptive Intelligence Lab, where his research explores cooperative localisation and navigation for multi-agent systems, with a particular interest in sensor fusion, factor graph optimisation and swarm intelligence.
