Ruisheng Han is a PhD student in Computer Science at Durham University, focusing on Action Quality Assessment (AQA) and causal reasoning for sports video analysis. He received his BSc in Computer Science from Durham University in 2024. During his undergraduate studies, his research focused on Human-Object Interaction in weakly supervised settings, where he worked on dataset construction and graph-based deep learning models, achieving strong performance across multiple benchmarks. Since 2024, Ruisheng has been pursuing his PhD at Durham University as a doctoral researcher in the Adaptive Intelligence Lab. His current research explores causal and temporal modeling for Action Quality Assessment, with an emphasis on robustness to contextual confounders and model interpretability. He is currently working on Football AQA, aiming to advance objective, interpretable and scalable performance evaluation methods for sports analytics.
